Foucault identifies what can be named 'reciprocal power.' I'd like you to share what you understand this term to mean and how it affects the way you understand terms such as 'subordinate,' 'dominant,' 'powerful,' and 'powerless.'

Foucault's Panopticism

For this series of posts, I'd like you to share ideas about what Foucault is getting at in his text. Panopticism, as well as the areas where you aren't quite sure what he's getting at. For the latter, refer to the work you did in your Difficulty Paper. Remember, we are trying to develop a working definition of the term power by exploring the way Foucault is defining it in his work.
